Over the next several weeks, Michael Beach and Ryan Meerstein will be presenting 2010 year in review Digital Landscape Reports. To kick things off, they look at State Committees and Facebook in this report.
A few key points:
1. The Ohio Republican Party led all state committees with 25,437 new likes during 2010. On the other side of the aisle, the California Democratic Party led with 10,188 new likes.
2. By Congressional district, the West Virginia Republican Party led all committees with 3,997 likes per CD. The Kansas Democratic Party led all Democrat committees with 2,476 likes per CD.
3. On average, state committees had 3,373 new likes in 2010 and 626 new likes per CD.
4. Head to head, Republican state committees led in 36 of 50 states.
