Dems edge out GOP state committees in Twitter growth

In this Targeted Victory Digital Landscape Report, Michael Beach and Ryan Meerstein look at state committee growth on Twitter over the last four weeks.  During this time period, the Dem state committees edged out the GOP committees and accounted for 52% of all growth.  On average, each committee added 55 new followers over the four week period.

A few key points:

1. The GA Dems led all state committees with 247 new followers.  The Maryland GOP led on the Republican side with 169 new followers.

2. By CD, the DE Dems led the field with 48 new followers per CD.  The AK GOP led on the Republican side with 33 new followers per CD.

3. Head to head, the two parties tied at 24 to 24.
