Florida Dems Lead in State Party Twitter Growth

In this Targeted Victory Digital Landscape Report, Michael Beach and Ryan Meerstein review state committee growth on Twitter over the last four weeks.  In this time, the Dem state parties edged out the GOP and accounted for 54% of all growth.  On average, each committee added 68 new followers.

A few key points:

1.  The Florida Dems led all state committees with 393 new followers.  Georgia led the GOP adding 276 new followers.

2.  Looking at new followers per Congressional District, Delaware Dems were on top with 54 new followers per CD while the Alaska GOP led Republicans with 43 new followers per CD.

3.  Head to head, the Dems edged out the GOP winning 25 to 23.
