In this Targeted Victory Digital Landscape Report, Abe Adams and Ryan Meerstein look at Gubernatorial candidates and their growth on Facebook over the last four weeks. This is a very good report for the GOP in which they outgrew Dem candidates by over 100,000 new likes during this four week period.
A few key points:
1. Jan Brewer led all candidates with 70,323 likes while Jerry Brown led all Dems with 15,079 likes during this report period.
2. By CD, Jan Brewer led all candidates with 8,790 likes per CD and Martin O’Malley led all Dem candidates with 666 likes per CD.
3. The GOP accounted for almost 73% of all growth during this four week period.
