GOP Gov Candidates Have 150k More Web Visits in August

In this Targeted Victory Digital Landscape Report, Michael Beach and Ryan Meerstein discuss Gubernatorial candidates and web traffic.  These numbers look at web traffic during the month of August and were pulled from the service Compete.  On average in the month of August candidates saw 9,925 visits tot their websites.

A few key points:

1. Jerry Brown led all candidates with 69,775 visits.  Rick Snyder led all GOP candidates with 64,754.

2. By CD, Jan Brewer led all candidates with 5,431 visits per CD.  Dan Malloy led all Dem candidates with 2,874 visits per CD.

3. GOP candidates led head to head in 24 of 35 racese.

4. GOP candidates had 150,000 more visitors than their Dem counterparts.
