In this Digital Landscape Report, Zac Moffatt and Michael Beach discuss the last four weeks of Facebook growth for Gubernatorial candidates. As was the case in recent Facebook reports, the GOP dominated the Dems and outgrew them by more than 2 to 1. When looking at all candidates combined, Facebook likes grew by more than 23.64%. Growth like this must mean that November is not far away.
A few key points:
1. Jan Brewer led all candidates with 74,048 new likes and also led by CD with 9,256.
2. Jerry Brown led all Democrats with 23,920 new likes.
3. GOP won head to head 18 – 9.
4. GOP growth was 25.90% while Dem growth was 20.73%
