In this Targeted Victory Digital Landscape Report, Ryan Meerstein and Michael Beach take a look at Senate races and their Facebook growth over the last four weeks. This was another good report for the GOP who has dominated on this platform over the last few months. Overall, GOP candidates outgrew Dem candidates 94,637 to 22,355.
A few key points:
1. John McCain led all candidates with 23,726 new Likes. Ron Wyden led all Dems with 1,657 Likes.
2. By CD, Sharron Angle led all candidates with 6,795 Likes per CD. Ron Wyden led all Dems with 504 per CD.
3. On average, candidates grew their Facebook communities by 1,657 Likes.
4. John McCain, Jim DeMint and Sharron Angle accounted for over 50% of all growth in this time period.
