In this Targeted Victory Digital Landscape Report, Michael Beach and Ryan Meerstein take a look at the Gubernatorial races and their growth on Facebook over the last four weeks. During this time period Meg Whitman led all candidates, however there was parity among the field.
A few key points:
1. Meg Whitman led all candidates with 44,324 new Likes while Bill White led all Democrats with 13,743 new Likes.
2. By CD, Jan Brewer led all candidates with 2,260 new Likes and Peter Shumlin led all Dem candidates with 1,030 new Likes per CD.
3. Dems led head to head in 19 of 37 races.
4. GOP candidates accounted for 64% of all growth during this period.
