ABOUT ALEX SCHRIVER
Alex Schriver formerly served as Chief of Staff for U.S. Representative Bradley Byrne (AL-01). He previously managed Rep. Byrne’s successful campaign in the 2013 special election for Alabama’s First Congressional District. As Chief of Staff, Schriver serves as the Congressman’s chief policy, legislative, and communications advisor, managing 16 staff and a $1.3 million annual budget.
Schriver is a former National Chairman of the College Republican National Committee. During his tenure, Schriver raised a record $16 million dollars and oversaw 75 full-time staff operating in 23 states, building the organization into the 2nd largest 527 in the country. Schriver also formerly worked at The Gula Graham Group, a Washington D.C. based political fundraising and consulting firm.
Schriver has been a frequent political commentator, providing analysis for CNN, Fox News Channel, MSNBC, NBC News, C-SPAN & PBS. He has also appeared in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, The Hill, POLITICO, and Roll Call. He was profiled in the 2012 book, “Mission: Adulthood” by New York Times journalist Hannah Seligson.
Schriver serves on the Board of Directors of the Capitol Hill Club and So Others Might Eat (SOME) Jr. Gala. Schriver previously served on the Board of Directors for Crossroads Generation, a SuperPAC formed with American Crossroads. Schriver also previously served on the Board of Directors for Reform Alabama, a 501(c)4 working to support, promote and sustain sound government reform policies in Alabama.
Schriver holds a B.A. in Political Science from Auburn University. He currently resides in Washington D.C.
